In the modern world, everything is getting automated or the work is done by machine. In our Inova Tech Blog, we are going to see Self Driving Car and How does it work.
Self-driving or driverless car means the human is not required to control it. The driverless car is a combination of sensors and software to navigate, control, and drive the car.
Many of the car production companies are doing researches t0 produce self-driving or driverless cars. From the invention of the car, it is upgraded to many levels.
In level 0 there is no automated control system every system needs to control by manually.
In level 1 the driver and the automated systems are combined to control the car.
At level 2 the automation system has the ability to control the car for acceleration and steering.
At level 3 the car is fully controlled by an automation system. But the driver is required to control for some emergency alert.
At level 4 the automation has fully taken control of all the things.
At level 5 no human is required to drive the car. It is fully controlled by the automation system.
How Does it Work?
Many companies are working on self-driving technologies that have been developed by Google, Uber, Tesla, Nissan, and other automobile companies.
The self-driving cars work on the inputs and output of the wide range of sensors, radars,
The self-driving systems create and maintain an internal map of their surroundings, based on the output of the sensor the vehicle will drive automatically. Uber self-driving has released the prototypes and use sixty-four laser beams and also use the sensors, to construct their internal map. Google released the prototypes Google driverless cars use lasers, radar, high-powered cameras, and sonar.
